Owning a home in Carmel Indiana has many benefits including the schools, the shopping, Carmel Hot Spots and the things to do.  Along with the Monon Center and Trail, Cool Creek Park offers over 90 acres including 4 miles of paved roads with wooded trails that are great for hiking, biking and reconnecting. Cool Creek Park in CarmelIt is located just west of Meridian on 151st.

It is probably best know for its Nature Center.  There are exhibits and displays on hummingbirds, butterflies and dragonflies.  At night the firefly puts on a show. The hours for the Nature Center are Monday through Saturday from 10:00 to 5:00 p.m. and from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sundays.

There is a Creek Stomp on July 1st from 10-11; 12-1 and 2-3; be sure to bring your bucket!  On July 2nd there is a Bug Hunt program during the same hours.  There are Cool Creek Campfires every Wednesday night at 7:00; bring your blankets or lawn chairs.

The Cool Creek Concert Series begins on June 19th (sorry I didn’t get this post out sooner!) but continues on June 26th with Scott DuBose, July 10th with After Midnight, July 17th with Casey Jamerson and July 24th with Polkaboy.  Concerts begin at 6:45; but gates open at 6:00.
